COCK INN 2007 RESULTS
Congratulations to every competitor who completed this years Cock Inn Challenge 10. To those who were unable to complete I wish you speedy recovery and please come again.
The course as ever was never classified as an ‘easy run’ and the 62 finishers should be very pleased with their achievement.
We still have a few trophies to award and this will take place at Oxleas Wood Cross Country as that is the next time we shall probably meet.
Our entry this year saw the return of some familiar faces and many new ones. In total 21 runners have visited us twice and encouragingly 44 newcomers this year.
Those of you who have visited the Swanley and District AC website will know that Tony Farmer ( Dartford Harriers) has an affiliation with mud and water and the Cock Inn 10 had plenty of both. Well done Tony hope the leg is OK, and that the body surfing on the North Downs hasn’t deterred you from coming back. Didn’t get a photo, sorry!
Those of you who measured the distance are reassured that mileage is in country miles and not road miles which accounts for the discrepancy mainly due to the revised start.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year and perhaps you could encourage other club mates to try their luck and shoes on our challenge.
